It is located where the Takatsu River used to run.
They still use a lot of subsoil water from the river to wash, soak and brew the rice.
The river water is soft with little minerals and has been repeatedly nominated as the purest river water.
The brewery, established in 1903, produces brands such as Fusozuru and Takatsugawa.
